The Baja 1000 didn’t unfold exactly as the 1X team had planned. Like any race, it presented its fair share of obstacles—some expected, many not. But what defines a team is not the things that go right; it’s how they respond when things get tough.
Throughout the day, the team pushed through the setbacks, adapted to the challenges, and kept their focus on the finish line. And because of that perseverance, they fought their way to a 2nd place finish. It may not have been the perfect day they had imagined, but it was a day that showcased our grit and determination.
If anything, this finish only lights a bigger fire within them. The team is already looking ahead—motivated, hungry, and excited for what next year will bring. Training starts soon, and the 1X will be ready to come back stronger, faster, and more prepared than ever.
Congrats to Arturo Salas, Shane Logan, Cairan Naran, Corey Hammond, and Jake Hogan for a great season, can't wait to see what you guys can do in 2026!
